This site is created, maintained, and funded by 1 person, myself

No companies whatsoever. I spend some spare time to code and admin this site. Because I’m a web developer, I can do things efficiently, and I know what it takes to keep the site running safely. But I hope the site will grow with more content in the library and remain a useful and accessible source for glaze-loving potters. By me a coffee fund will fund the cost of the growing site’s server and storage.

I hate site fats and want this site runs lean

What are site fats? Things that are annoying and not directly useful for the site users. These include annoying relentless popups / ads, spam marketing emails, asking for excessive private data to sell to third parties to help me fund the site, yada yada. None of them! My hope is that I can keep this site lean for us all. The one thing that the site uses is the necessary temporary cookie to recognize you as a user of your own account after logging in. If we don’t do this, you’ll have to log in very often to do anything. No modern sites do this to their users, because that’d be also very annoying.
